Padre
Luis Jayme International Outreach partners with public and private agencies
in Mexico to ensure supplies reach the most needy in schools, hospitals
and the homes of the poor. Our partners include Casa de los Pobres (House
of the Poor), the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Missionaries of Charity
and the Sisters of the 11th Hour.
Sister
Antonia and the Sisters of the 11th Hour, who work with the Outreach,
have been helping the poor in Tijuana for 24 years. They also bring aid
to the La Mesa State Prison, where hope among the families who live there
is a most-needed resource. The Padre Luis Jayme program provided the Sisters
of the 11th Hour with furnishings for their home in Tijuana, called Casa
San Miguel, which they share with several poor families.
Padre
Luis Jayme International Outreach is known for taking a proactive approach
to aid blankets and supplies are delivered to Mexico before winter
storms arrive, and supplies are often delivered immediately after natural
disasters strike.
